Regarding Mufasa: The Lion King, we know so far that Barry Jenkins ( Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk, The Underground Railroad) will be stepping in as director for the project, which will be in the same CGI-live-action style as Jon Favreau's version from 2019.
